Camcorder to web streaming...HELP

G'day guys,

I am a newbie to the forum. I just got my EasyCap 2.0 DC60 in yesterday and I am trying to hook my FS 100 Canon camcorder to my desktop so that I can use it as a webcam and stream live on to UStream, etc.

After spending weeks on the net trying to find out whether a USB camcorder can stream live to the net, I came across a post from a bloke in the UK stating that EasyCap can do it and he has done it. I have contacted him for the directions, but he has not gotten back to me, it has been weeks.

I loaded the drivers as per the instructions and hooked up my camcorder to EasyCap and then my PC. I started UStream and it picks up the audio but not the image. Even off "My Computer" when I select Syntek STK1160 and click on it, no image comes up at all.

Can it be done, or has some one done it and if so, what am I doing wrong? I am desperate...the EasyCap is my last stop before I go out and buy a firewire camcorder.

It works - I have used Justin TV broadcast with my EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B:

I bet that You have too slow Internet connection - You must have at least 1000kbps upload speed
and if You want good quality You need at least 2000kbps.
