When i connect my dvd player to the easycap i cannot the image ...the screen is always black

Hi

What connection are you using composite video or scart? make sure your using VIDEO OUT not VIDEO IN

yes i'm using the correct conection and still have the problem

Are you using composite video out? or scart to composite video?

I had the wrong scart to compostie video lead and the picture was blank, got the right one one in maplin

Are the dvd settings set to PAL 50hz should be standard on a uk dvd player though!

If you try and capture what message do you get?
