Ok so i just got my easycap and ive been trying to get it work for 3 hours.. ive gotten a long ways but now the screen is wierd.. ive tried messing with the settings nothing will work my theory is i have a windows XP but the cd makes me install 1160 (vista) when i need 1150 (XP) is that the problem? if you have even and idea of what it might be feel free to reply  back

Try capturing with Windows Movie Maker as a test to see if you have the same problem, if not then it is probably something to do with Video Studio.

If you have the same problem then that would suggest the issue may be with your computer system or the EasyCap itself. To trouble shoot this try using the EasyCap in another computer.

i read up and i know whats wrong... i have a 1.1 usb port and i need a 2.0 usb port.. anyone know how i can upgrade other  than a whole new card
