Sorry for the caps in the topic name,
But im desperate.
Soooo heres the story,
I bought an Easycap from Focalprice and received it a few days agoo.
It appears to be Version 2.1C (CD).
After installing the drivers and applications im able to get an video image but its black and white.
Ive read serveral turtorials which tell me to chage to PAL or NTSC_433 or something.
Its already on PAL and NTSC_433 does not excist in my list.
Ive tried all other Video Filter Settings from PAL to SECAM but every thing is the same.
Connection is OK but black and white...
Tried the following Software :
AMCAP
The Standard Ulead thingy
Dscaler
- Am i using the wrong drivers ?
- Am i using the wrong settings ?
Using an PAL Super Nintendo Ofcourse...
Using Easycap 108
Connected DIRECTLY to USB 2.0 Full Speed
Please Help!
Thanks in advance!

I tried to plug my european PAL SNES to my EasyCap and it worked well with colors.
I use VirtualDub to record videos with, I find it tho be the best app for that. But that should probably won't make any difference in this issue.
Try it, or whatever app you're using, and set the source to PAL /BDGHI and composite. I you're using an S-Video cable that can also cause it to become black/white. Strictly use RCA all the way, that's my advice.
Or maybe some other PAL region runs in 60Hz, I'm not sure. However when I tried PAL 60Hz with my Wii, it caused severe problems all the time. I didn't get a picture at all and whatever recording app I tried with it ran very slow.
Hopefully this will give you some help.
