I bought my Easycap as an adapter so I could use my laptop screen to play my games consoles as I don't have a TV. However, I can't figure out how to do this. I'd like to just play the games in realtime on my screen, without recording if possible. I'm sure it's very simple to do, I'm just technologically useless. Can anyone give me any advice?

Yes, I am using the composite cable from the PS2. I'll borrow my friend's TV to check the PS2 settings, but I'm sure it was on PAL 50HZ. I'll also make sure the Easycap is set to PAL and get back to you.

Ok, my Easycap device is set to PAL, and I've tried it with my Nintendo Gamecube, which only has 50HZ output, and still no joy. It now says to make sure my video capture drivers are working properly, how do I do this?
