Hi All,
Can anyone advise me roughly how much space on the hard drive you need to capture video and audio from a VHS Camcorder? If its a 45 minute film, how much space would the AVI file use on my hard drive? Is there a way to adjust the settings in order to use less space?
Thanks for any help.

In nero Vision Express when you capture as an AVI file it gives you the option of choosing between different video and audio codecs for compression, prehaps your software will let you do the same. Uncompressed AVI files are massive they can be several Gb per minute depending on resolution, colour space, frame rate ect. If you could use some realy good video and audio codecs you may be able to get the file size down without losing percieved quality.
