of course there is no need to capture dvd to make dvd file,i want vhs convertion but only did dvd for testign signal.
i just plug in the yellow composite and i have video,but not so on the vhs player.
whats wrong?
input/output thing?

Be sure you're using the composite OUTPUT on the VCR and not the inputs.
