audio but no video ! help please

Hi

Have just installed EasyCap DC60 and gone through what looks like the usual pain of setting up. I have gone through a procedure of loading DC60+ drivers and AMCap as suggested on some posts and have reached a stage of audio but no video on both Ulead and AMCap. I have a scart adapter with switchable IN/OUT set to out which allows audio through. I have tried s-video leads and also just the 3 composite leads still to no avail. The message I get in Ulead after about 8 seconds is " no video was captured. Please check if there si any input signal. There may be no device selected" It then goes on to say 2 capturing failed"

AMCAP similarly does not capture any frames.

Should I see the video on the screen when working correctly (in Ulead and AMCap) ?

Also any suggestions on lead configuration or possibility still of software driver problems?

Mark- like yourself have had all your probs.i am using the dc60 and replaced the ulead program with win avi video capture,it works great.if you need some extra support i may be able to help.am running vista 32bit home premium.
