I have a P4 2.8Ghz, 2gb ram and a segate 7200rpm drive. The problem is when I try and capture with EasyCap set to PAL 576 the CPU it hits 100% and the resulting file has frame stutter, drops and freezes (I can capture OK if I set it to PAL 288).

Is this normal?

Or am I expecting too much of my processor?

Is anyone else able to capture at this res on a similar system?

 Huh

Problem solved, tried some different video capture software called AMCap (freeware), now I can capture at full res with low CPU and no problems!
