Hi Guys,

Just bought one of these from eBay & discovered that it won't record in stereo.

I was hoping to use Audacity to record my LPs from a cassette deck but it only records mono!

Can demonstrate this by pulling left plug out, replace & pull right plug out, no difference. Of course no signal if both left & right channels are pulled.  I have the correct settings because it records stereo ok through the PC's soundcard.

Have I got a clone? Even if I have this seems a daft fault to have, it functions just fine in every other respect. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a driver issue?

I have exactly the same problem.
I tried using Audacity, Ulead and Rip Vinyl...
I tried using 2 different laptops (dell and toshiba) on being under XP and the other under vista
I tried using the line out and the headphone jack.

It worked in all cases but only in mono...

I bought the Easycap on Ebay... and it looks fine.

If someone could help

Thanks...
