I have got an Easycap DC60 and have loaded everything onto my PC. What I want to do is transfer some Vhs videos to a hard drive. When I switch the Videostudio on,
1. I click Movie Wizard
2. I click capture
3. My source is Syntek STK1150
4. What Format do I use?
5. What TV channel do I use?
6. I then click capture.
I have recorded bits with my webcam so I know the system is working

Assuming you are in the UK and you want the best aspect settings to watch the finished article on your TV...

1-3 good

4. Set it to "dvd"
Then click the "options" clog > MPEG settings > select "DVD PAL 728 x 576"
Make sure the "aspect ratio" is set to 4:3 and click on "ok" at the bottom

5. You don't touch this. Leave as is.

6. click on capture
