HI  Easy dudes!  NEw member here. Tongue

I'm having nothing but issues with this Easycrap device i bought from China!  First of all i am having issues with the Ulead software which was bundled with the EC, it just locks up on my computer and takes agesss to load! just seems to freeze my com sometimes then i have no option but to restart!
THe major problem is the Audio which is just an annoying hissing sound!  THe USB audio driver is: "USB audio device"  THis was installed from the bundled CD which came with the EC hardware!
THe other problem i am having is when i am trying to capture video from VHS using "S-Video" the video appears  in monochrome, this is in PAL region!  ANyway when i use "Composite video" the captured video is fine and in colour...so don't know what the problem is!!??

I've looked on the website EZ and there is no support for my device!?  Huh

I have tried updating driver and windows says  the best available driver is already installed  Huh

PS. My OS is WIndows XP home SP3!

I too am using Win XP Home SP3 and have had lots of problems with Video Studio, I also had problems with WMM and Nero. It is all too easy to blame EasyCap but in my personal experience it has more to do with the software and your system that you are using to capture with than the capture device itself.

All of my capture problems disappeared when I downloaded the AMCap video grabber from the EasyCap website and used that for capture instead, however it only captures to AVI files which are huge (several GB per minute), there is another upgraded version of AMCap (by a guy called Noel) that allows you to capture with compression using Video and Audio codecs that you have on your PC, there are links to both below.

If you choose to try them let me know how you get on!
