What product do I need?
«

I have a nesting box with a camera which connects to my TV. I would like to connect directly to my laptop to record the output.
Is there an EasyCap video capture product that will allow me to do that?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

I would not purchase an "easycap" as they are all fakes. The real ones are "ezcap"
99% of all postings on this forum are for people having problems with their "easycap". The choice is yours.
Recording Live:
I take it you have 3 AV leads going from your camera to your tv? (red, white yellow)
You can either plug the leads straight into the ezcap and record on the pc or if you still want to see what is happening on your tv at the same time, purchase 3 x "female to female phono splitters" (approx £1.50 each on ebay) This splits the cable from your camera. You will need an extra set of AV leads. (ezcap 116 comes with a free set)
Hard drive space:
It eats up gigabytes. Set the capture software to mpeg2. Even set at this it will eat up approx 4GB for every hour of recording.
If you want an ezcap 116 you can purchase off myself (see sig) get them on ebay, amazon or do a search on google.
