videostudio8 problems

Hi there can anyone help?  I recently purchased the easycap usb2.0 and it came with the disc
which i installed the hardware. But when i try to install the videostudio8 it asks for a serial number which i don't have on the package. What do i do? I only want to watch my videos through the pc
Not only that i seen the syntek logo installed in 'my computer' i click on it and i see a windows opened and there is a small box which is green, seems no picture is coming through, i have the wires connecting through my pc to the video

You need to contact the company you purchased from to ask them why there is no serial number.

Also:
If you are running Vista, windows 7, Ulead will not instal on these. (too old. The software was made obsolete in 1994)
