hi just joined the forums and i need help with my easycap as it is my first time at using a capture card ive installd all the stuff that is on the cd that came with the easycap. for start i want to rec n64, snes etc footage, can u use easycap to rec n64 footage or do i need another capture card and also i want to do it without splitters.
ive got two rv component cable for the n64 but they don't have a double end which is where iam stuck, just the red white and yellow lead and
the other thing you plug into the console, would like to know what i need to get without useing splitters but if i have to have the splitters thats ok, will be very greatful if any one can help, thanks.

Hey, if your TV has an AV out ( commonly called Monitor Out ) you can run double sided RCA cables (the yellow,red and white ones) from the AV out to the EasyCap and plug your N64 into the tv as you normally would. What this does is outputs whatever is on your screen to your EasyCap. Most modern TV's will have an AV out Smiley

hey thanks for your reply, i don't understand what you mean my two rca cables for the n64 don't have a double side just the red white and yellow lead and the end where you put in the console, this is what mine are.

hey, ive got the RCA Male Plug to Plug cable and i put that in the output on my tv and use the input for where my n64 cable goes, and place the other end of the male plug to plug into the easycap.
now i open up ulead video studio and when i start video setup i go on capture video and the sound works but not the picture what iam i doing wrong, i went on settings and changed the tv settings to pal, what iam i doing wrong.
