When capturing footage from video to my pc the audio starts to get out of sync with the video, which increases the longer the recording. Is there a way of avoiding this? Thanks

Hi. I'm using Ulead VideoStudio SE DVD, which came with the easycap. The files automatically save as .AVI. Thanks.

Are you using XP or vista?

Also what exact version are you using (XP-SP3, Vista 64bit ect...)?

What EasyCap model do you have? Click here to check, mine's a 108 (2nd from bottom).

If Video Studio is version 10 then it is not compatible with Vista, see here.

If you're using EasyCap 108 DC60 then this also has problems with Vista, click here then scroll down to the bottom of the page.

I suggest you use some software that is Vista 64 bit compatible for capture/editing. You may find some freeware here. Click on "Capture", scroll down for a list and links. Then do the same with "Video Editors" basic and advanced.

If you continue to have problems with EasyCap and Vista compatibility issues, uninstall the driver and let windows search for a generic driver, I heard someone on here fixed it that way.
