My tv is in my living room and my pc is in my room. I don't have a laptop. And There is no more space in my living room for me to move my pc. So can i use 5 meter long usb cable? Has anyone of you tried it before? thx for the help

I know of people who use USB cables this size and they do not have a problem. What i would recommend is you spend a couple of quid extra and get gold plated ones.

It is one of the best conductors you can get. Gold plate reduces signal loss.
