Hey Everyone,

I just bought a new easy cap (my old one broke while being stored away) so that i could record some new gaming video. How ever,  when i start to capture, the audio is jumpy and sounds horrible. when i go to watch the video file, the audio has speed up to twice as fast as the video, (so that the audio sounds like its on fast forward, and ends half way through) though the actual video is normal. Ive been searching Google for about a month now (so if this is something simple, ill feel dumb) and cant find any help. ive tried 4 or 5 different video capture programs, but they all do the same thing.

If any one could help, i would very much appreciate it.

This is the problem with easycaps. It is a lottery to what you are actually purchasing as they are all counterfeits.

Your first one worked fine, your new one does not. If you have already tried it on different capture programs and it is doing the same, you need to send it back and get your money refunded as it will never work properly.

Spend a little extra and get the original. Get yourself an EzCAP. You will not have any issues with it. Or take a chance and buy another easycap from a different vendor.
