For the last year we have bought about 100 easyCaps for a low end audio and video capture.

The last month We have bought 30 EASycaps from 4 different suppliers and have the same problem. This problem is the same on 5 different computers.

DC60, on Windows XP.......
With no audio connection, we are getting static. Using a software VU meter, we are reading about -28db of noise.

ALSO,
If we plug audio into ONLY the left OR only the right, we get audio on both channels. So ALL the audio is MONO.

With the new EASYcaps, we look a the audio crossbar and it is showing "microphone In" not LINE?

Using GraphEdit and looking at the filter properites it is the same....Mico in....

Is any one else having the same problems
