OK, I ordered a EasyCap DC60 from Amazon from the original manufacturing company, and I was excited when it came.

When I tried it out, I noticed that it said "USB not recognized", So I installed the disk.
BTW, my computer is Windows 7 64-bit, and is a Toshiba Silver 15.6" Satellite L455D-S5976
The EasyCap said it is compatible with Windows 7.

System features:
AMD Sempron processor for notebook PCs, SI-42
Features 2.1GHz speed, an 800MHz frontside bus, and 512KB L2 cache
2GB of DDR2 system memory rated at 800MHz and expandable up to 8GB
250GB SATA hard drive, rated at 5400 rpm

So anyway, after I installed the driver and reset my computer, the notice said it was still unrecognizable. So I download SO MANY FREAKING DRIVERS online, and nothing worked. Because you know why? Every time I try to install a driver, it always says "The best driver settings are already installed for your device".

When I uninstall the driver over and over, I tried to install the downloaded drivers again, but it says the same darn message!!! I watched tutorial videos, and read some tutorials online, but non helped. Can someone help me, or at lease tell me what the problem is?

Because Now I'm finished with it, and it's all back in the box it came from, ready to be shipped back, unless someone can assist me.

If you ordered an "easycap" it was not from the original company. You have bough a counterfeit. All "easycaps" are counterfeits of "EzCAP". Some work and some are absolutley useless.

The reason you have trouble is because a DC60 is not compatible with Windows 7. I bet it also came with Ulead software? This is also not compatible with Windows 7.

The good news is you bought off Amazon. So send it back for a refund.

If you want a hassle free product, get the EzCAP116. You will not have any problems on Windows 7. It also comes with far better software.

It can also be purchased here on Amazon.co.uk

If you are in the US, you can purchase here on Ebay.com.
