Serial Number missing??

I just got an EasyCap off Amazon UK, and started to set it up - the device registers fine, the driver installed without a hitch.

But then I click Install Video Studio (the editing software), and it says I need a serial number.

I've been following a YouTube tutorial step by step, and according to the video, the number is printed on the CD packaging.

But it's not on mine! I've checked every other piece of paper that came with it, but I can't find a serial number.


Is there any way to get one emailed to me by the makers (if need be, I can provide the Amazon recipt showing I did indeed buy it, and photos of the CD packaging)

Just send a message to the company you purchased off on Amazon. They will provide you with a serial or a new disc that includes the serial. If they can't do this, send the lot back for a refund.
