Ezcap116 - VHS-DVD - voice synch
«

Yesterday got the Ezcap116, did a 1hr test recording of VHS tape, burned it to DVD via Magix Movie Edit Pro 14.
Found voice sync problems.
The sound doesn't match the persons lips as they speak.
Can any one help as I was told Ezcap 116 was the latest version of Easycap and thus should not suffer any problems.........

This is usually a RAM issue. Try capturing and burning with the software it came with. Arcsoft

I have 3gb ram (as much as 32 bit Windows XP Home SP3) can see.
I used Arcsoft but the results where just as bad as Magix Movie Edit Pro 14.

In Arcsoft, when you watch the preview, is it out of sync? or only after you burn?

I never checked if its out of synch in the PC, only checked it after I'd burned it and was watching it on normal tv.

I think I may have fixed it but I'm not 100% sure.
For VHS to DVD you need to record VHS sound at 44100 khz and not 48000 khz.
Done 3 tests in all of them this has fixed it for 98% of the time.
