hey i have recently purchased a DC60+ and i am running windows 7 i know they are not compatible but it is nearly working.

My problem is that when i am capturing the colors are wrong see screenshot below.

A DC60+ is compatible with Windows7. The software that comes with it (Ulead) is not.

Try different capture software.

thanks that is all working but the colors are still not correct it should be green instead of purple.

If it is still the same, send it back and get a refund. They are meant to be simple plug & play.

If you have purchased an "easycap" it is a counterfeit and there are so many different ones about, there is no straight fix for it. You could spend days on it and still have the same result.

If you do not want any issues, get a refund, spend a bit more and get the genuine article. Purchase an EzCAP. Get the EzCAP116 as it is fully compatible with Windows 7.

At least under XP you can view EasyCap video with Windows Explorer.  The default values for the driver need to be set correctly first though.  I use AMCap to set the defaults correctly.  See my post here for details.

I would also check my PC card video settings to make sure I was running 24 or 32 bit color.
