I've spent a week trying to get an Easycap DC60 working with Windows - I tried everything I could think of - all the variations of drivers listed on here, Win7, XP, Vista 64, virtual machines etc, the Ulead application that came with it, the Debut software that others recommend, tried adding more RAM; most of the time I couldn't get the drivers to work at all and the best I managed was 4 minutes of capture before the thing crashed. Was about to throw the thing in the bin when I discovered that someone has produced a Mac OSX driver here - http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/32004/easycapviewer. I tried this on my iMac expecting nothing but to my surprise it worked perfectly first time and I've since been able to transfer several hours of VHS to disk. It has its own capture application and much better controls than the Windows versions. Worth a try if you have access to a Mac.

Still can't get it to work with Windows though!  Has anyone used it successfully with Vista 64 bit???

I've managed to get it working with Vista 64 bit and Windows 7 64 bit, but highly unstable. I can't wait for my Mac to arrive next week so I can try the app you linked Smiley
