Author Topic: capturing with ulead does not rec  (Read 848 times)

I am trying to capture video using ulead video studio 11 with EASY CAP 2.0 When start the preview screen is a black screen i have to go in to "input source" and change that to "NTSC" then the preview screen is black and white then i have to go back in to it and change it to "SECAM" then it is in color then I go to capture in MPEG formats the preview screen go black, the time elapsed starts. When I press stop capture I get an error message saying " Capture Failed. The file created is corupted and unusable.It will be automatially deleted" but when i do it in black and white it does rec

If you are on Windows 7, ulead V11 is not compatible but i have a sneaky suspicion it is your format setting.

Are you in the UK? if so, set it to PAL_I

@bigweeal i tryed that my preview screen is still black and yes i have a vista 64bit what other video capturing softwar can i use

When you go to the site, don't click on the links on the right hand side.
There is a download link for non commercial customers in the first paragraph
on the page.

When you have installed, plug in the unit, open Debut, click on "device" at
the top.


Also,
You are capturing vhs? If so, are you using a switchable scart?

lol none of them i am capturing xbox360 but when i start like emcap i have to go on NTSC to black and white then go on SECAM then it is ion color but will till not start on SECAM it just comes up with a black screen

Try installing and running AMCAP to fix this as I have documented in my guide.
