Purchased this product through amazon and have tried using it with no success. Have just looked at a previous post and from what I can make out this product is not compatible with vista. Is this correct? If so what is best product to buy for converting dv camcorder and old vhs videos?

Not sure if mine is the 2.0 or not. On the usb thingy, it just says EASYCAP. I am as I speak capturing video and hopefully audio (audio not previewing for some reason) from my VHS tape through my laptop into Vista. Seems to be working. I am  capturing as an MPEG rather than an AVI, as it kept coming up with a Time Stamp Error when using AVI.
