Hi All,

I have EasyCap plugged into my PC and connected to my TV (PC-USB - PS3-Composite) but when I am using Ulead I get the message that no capture card device is detected. Unfortunately I have lost the installation disc that came with EasyCap so I have attempted to locate and install a driver for it off the internet but still no luck Cry.

Any ideas of how I can get Ulead (or any other software) to detact my EasyCap?

Many thanks,

A Google search for:
easycap dc60 iso
on the internet may turn up something.

If you can't use (don't understand) torrents, you may want to use this search:
easycap dc60 iso -torrent

Beware: you are browsing the underbelly of the internet.  Do NOT install anything any site asks you to install.  Go someplace else instead if they won't let you download when you refuse to install their software (malware).

After downloading the ISO and burning the CD, use my EasyCap and ULead install instructions.

Hi Theothercliff,

Thanks for your reply (but apologies for my later reply).

I did what you advised and (I think) it's worked (Syntek STK1150 is detected as my source in Video Studio). The only problem I have now is that I don't get a picture through either Video Studio, Amcap or Movie Maker, the preview stays black. I have tried conecting the composite leads straight into my TV and have tried connecting them to a scart connector and conecting that to the TV but still the same black screen.

I get the feeling that it may be one of the options or something which I may not be setting correctly. Do you have any ideas on what i could try?

Thanks again.

If you have the easycap connected to your tv. Are you sure it is "composite out" on the tv and not "composite in"

If you are connecting the lead to the same ports you would connect a camcoder to watch directly on your tv, you have the wrong sockets. This is "composite in."
