We have a fairly old fashioned 16:9 Sony TV which on a side compartment has the red, white, yellow ports. But i try and connect these to the easy cap (through an extension cable of red, white and yellow ports) I dont get any picture.
Basically I want to transfer footage from my V+ PVR to the PC so I can then put onto DVD...bit of a long way around it but i dont have a DVD recorder. Is this possible or do you have to go straight to the source? i.e. connect it to the PVR itself?
My comptuter is an i3 with 500GB or Hard Drive space. Be much appreciated if anyone can help me.
Those RCA connectors are probably for input use only. In my Sony Bravia the only way to get video out is via scart port - I recommend this kind of scart/RCA adapter where is both input and output directions:
