climaxdigital, eh? That's who I ordered my DC60+ from, and I got sent a DC60. After an e-mail chain of trying to convince them that yes there is a hardware difference and no it's not just the CD provided, I was able to send mine back and get (what I think is) a DC60+ sent back to me.
I made a topic about it. Suffice to say my buyers' experience with them wasn't a pleasant one. And that buying from climaxdigital isn't guaranteed to get you the right model when the two look the same on the outside.
First of all, my DC60 was in yellow plastic packaging, and my DC60+ was in a pink box. Since they're from the same seller (I'm guessing vanguard tech did the shipping for you too, from the sound of it) that might help you identify them.
Second, after installing the drivers (I had to get windows to do it on both devices - using the installation from the CD menu didn't seem to achieve anything!), try getting
these drivers and installing them while the device is plugged in (fenberry has suggested they also update the device itself during installation). Then you might be able to get color in 60hz by selecting PAL_60 or NTSC_433 picture modes (they're essentially the same, but only the latter works for me for some reason).
Hope that helps.
